The cost of the residences in Warsaw is close to that of the large European capitals. Expatriates often live in residential districts and in particular in Zoliborz (north of Warsaw), Wilanow (south of Warsaw) and in Saska Kepa (east of Warsaw). In such places, the monthly rent is approximately 450 euros for an unfurnished studio, 1000 euros for two or three-room apartment and 2000 euros for a villa.

The price of the m² in a new apartment varies from 250 EUR in the voïvodie of Slaskie, whose Katowice is the capital, to 750 to 1200 EUR in Warsaw. The purchase of an apartment by a foreigner does not require any specific authorization and the real estate purchase for foreigners was significantly simplified.
